Our Treatments
Podiatry Treatment: Routine nail care, removal of hard/dry skin/corns. We use a range of essential oils on your nails and skin followed by the application of an emollient cream and relaxing lower limb and foot massage.
Ingrown Toenails: During this appointment, the Podiatrist will remove the portion of nail or nail ‘spur’ that is causing the pressure and pain.
Fungal Toenails: Fungal nail infections are particularly challenging to treat. Most topical agents from the pharmacy can prove to be ineffective at penetrating the thickened, fungal nail plate to reach the active infection at the nail bed. At Killearn Podiatry, we can drill, thin down this thickened nail plate, removing any loose fungal nail. The Podiatrist then applies Lamisil at 1% Terbinafine anti-fungal spray to attack the fungal spores.
Verrucae: Cryotherapy, Verrutop Verrucae Treatment available, Use of specific medicaments for Verrucae.
Musculoskeletal: Sporting injuries, Tendonitis, Soft Tissue Injuries, Plantar Fasciitis, Morton’s Neuroma, Prescription of Orthotic/insoles.
We offer a wonderful house call service if patients cannot manage to come to us; we will come to you.
Emergencies same-day appointments available.
